By Purchasing a Ticket, you agree to these Rules!
Age - This AIS Event is open to adults, 19 years old (on the first day of the event) or older.
Alcohol/Drug Policy - No alcohol, illegal drugs, illegal substances and/or firearms may be brought into the Event Space. Anyone who is
noticeably affected by either alcohol or drugs will be refused admittance or asked to leave by the AIS Staff.
Animals - No real animals of any kind are permitted in any area of the COPE Event. However, animal and age related role-playing is perfectly acceptable.
Armbands/badges - All attendees of the AIS event will be required to wear an armband and Name badge at all times. (The name badge may be removed for play - this is the only exception to this rule - so be sure not to remove either.
Attire/Clothing/Dress Code - All attendees must dress "street legal" and appropriately when not in the COPE areas of the hotel. (If you have to ask if something is inappropriate - it probably is) During play space hours, there will be hangers and a clothes rack area within the COPE Social Area, to change into whatever you want to wear (including nothing!) However, other hallways, the parking lot, the hotel lobby, Local businesses/restaurants, etc... are not part of the event and that vanilla behavior and attire are required.
Behavior - Please refrain from behaviors that interfere with the presenters classes. Please refrain from behavior that interferes with another's enjoyment of this event. If you feel you are the subject of rude, inappropriate or nonconsensual behavior, please notify AIS Staff.
Cellular Phones - The use of cell phones (with or without a camera) is not allowed. Please leave these in your hotel or car.
Cleaning Supplies - There are tables with cleaning supplies throughout the playspace and the event. We also have included pumps for water-free hand sanitizing. Please clean up after using any equipment, spills or mishaps. If there is anything that appears to be a larger mess - please let the AIS Staff know immediately.
Common Sense - These rules apply to everyone. Negative behavior may effect us all, and after all - we want to continue to have bigger and bigger events in the area. We ask for mutual respect from the vanillas, let us do the same for them.
Damage to the Hotel - Please be cautious of Hotel property - to include hotel structures, walls, furniture, appliances, fixtures, etc. You will be held personally responsible for any and all damage that occurs as a direct or indirect result of your actions.
Discretion - We know that this is exciting and it is easy to get swept up in the energy! However, please be aware that not everyone you encounter outside the COPE area has an interest in Kink. Please be respectful of vanilla folks within the local establishments you patronize during your COPE Experience.
Edge play - Please inform AIS Staff or PSMs prior to any extreme play, rough play, abductions, or any other scene that appears dangerous or non-consentual
Emergencies - Please bring any emergencies (medical or otherwise) to the immediate attention of a PSM or AIS Staff.
Etiquette - This is a Pansexual Kink event, meaning there is minimal protocol. However, mutual respect is the standard. Please utilize the golden rule - Treat others as you would like to be treated in a similar situation. Food and Drink - There will be snacks, along with coffee and water provided in the social area, and throughout the day in the central hallway area. Please do not take snacks or beverages (other than water) into the playspace.
Gender Policy - AIS is committed to being an inclusive, safe, welcoming and positive space for people of any gender orientation or sexual preference. The entire event is classified as pansexual and "all gender friendly." Please respect everyone's gender self-identification. If you are not sure about how someone prefers to be referred to, ask politely.
Hotel Staff and Public Areas - The Host Hotel has accommodated our event - let us return the respect. Hotel staff are not part of the event, and may be offended by open displays of sexuality or kink. Please treat them as vanillas with courtesy and respect. Please do not display or "test" toys - floggers, whips, other implements of WIITWD outside of the COPE Area. Furthermore, as we do not have control over the entire hotel, there may be other citizens who are lodging there. Please be respectful - we would like to have this event again.
Illegal Activities - Anything that is against the law in the state of Ohio, or the USA, is still illegal in the COPE Area and the host hotel. This includes solicitation, prostitution, negotiation of payment for play or sexual services, use or sale of illegal substances, etc.. Furthermore, even though not illegal, there are no firearms allowed in the COPE area.
Lost and Found - If you have found an item that is not yours, please drop it off at the registration desk. If you have lost an item, please check the registration area at regular intervals.
Managers/Manager on Duty - AIS/COPE will have a Manager On Duty (MOD) from 5pm on friday until 3 am on Sunday. If you have any issues or problems, please inform the registration volunteers that you would like to speak with the MOD.
Photography policy - There will be a photographer as a vendor. This photographer will only be taking kinky commissioned portraits. There is no other photography permitted in the COPE Event space. This policy extends to any form of electronically or film recorded media. Confidentiality is imperative and allows for events like COPE and Winter Wickedness to be safe spaces for people who are seeking their bliss. Please respect this guideline. Cell phones and cameras will be confiscated, and the offender ejected from the event.
Smoking areas - There is No Smoking inside the COPE area. There area 3 available smoking areas within the hotel space. These area indicated on your event maps inside the brochure.
Tickets and Refunds - No one will be permitted, under any circumstances, to enter the COPE area without a previous registration. There are no ticket sales, exchanges, refunds, substitutions, etc.. at the event site by anyone for any reason. Refunds - 60% refunds will be given until Aug 22, 2008. After Aug 22, 2008 there will be no refunds offered.
Volunteers - Events such as these do not run themselves. It takes many willing volunteers to make it run smoothly.
